The holidays are here which means I get to spend time with my extremely talented bestie Kelsey. We came up with a fun idea to do some different style braids for every day of the week. I call Kelsey the braid queen as she can literally do any style of braid with ease. These 7 styles I will be showing you were all done within 5 minutes each! If you are like me I only shampoo and condition my hair once a week. These braids can make your hair look great whether it’s dirty or clean.
Start off the week with a loose fishtail braid. No one will know you have the Monday blues when your hair looks this great!
Kelsey’s Tip: Use smaller sections of hair to pull back into the braid and gently pull pieces once finished to make it look looser.
Try this half up braid for a super quick pulled together look. Secure the braids in the back with bobby pins and your ready to go!
Kelsey’s Tip: Bobby pin half of your hair back first then braid the front pieces and pin back overtop of the bobby pins.
Boxer braids are so popular right now and for good reason! They can be worn to work, out for drinks or to a sweaty gym session.
Kelsey’s Tip: Hold your hands as close to the scalp as possible when braiding to ensure they are tight.
Try out this half up French braid for an easy and quick style for those mornings you are running late.
Kelsey’s Tip: This is an easy and pretty way to keep your hair out of your face without throwing it up in a ponytail.
The waterfall braid is the perfect style for date night or even a formal event. It also makes a gorgeous bridal hairstyle.
Kelsey’s Tip: French braid the first few strands back then start dropping pieces.
This braided headband Perfect for a day of shopping and then a night out on the town. Dress it up with curls or wear it casual with straight hair.
Kelsey’s Tip: Do multiple braids and secure with bobby pins. Leave some pieces of hair out by your ears to hide the ends of the braids.
Look cute on lazy Sunday’s with this reverse braided bun. Also a great option to wear for a workout.
Kelsey’s Tip: Lay down on your stomach with your head hanging over the side of the bed to keep your hair out of the way when braiding.
