Fruit Punch Smoothie Bowl
Smoothie bowls are my latest food addiction. Every morning I wake up excited for breakfast because it’s so delicious and fresh. My secret weapon to tackle the day that I add to all my smoothies is Matcha powder! This antioxidant packed tea boosts metabolism, detoxifies the body, lowers blood sugar and provides energy throughout the day.
The avocado is essential as it makes the smoothie bowl creamy and thick and is a great healthy fat. Throw that spinach in because it’s full of vitamins and minerals and I promise you won’t even be able to taste it. Coconut, lime, pineapple and banana pair perfectly together to make you feel like you are on a tropical vacation!
The toppings are the fun part and you can use anything your heart desires. For this bowl I used kiwi and banana slices with coconut, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and sunflower seeds.
- 1/2 cup of coconut water
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup of avocado
- 1/2 tsp of fruit punch or regular Matcha powder
- 1/4 cup of pineapple
- 1/2 of a frozen banana
- 1 handful of spinach
- Blend all ingredients on high in a blender until fully blended and thick.
- Pour into your prettiest bowl and add your toppings.
- Devour and enjoy!
